Self-taught in photography 30 years ago, Kevin McCormick cut his teeth on photojournalism and documentary photography. Over the years, he has photographed everything from hard news to MTV to sitting presidents. With his strong photojournalism roots, he approaches event photography in a photo essay style. With the belief that every picture should tell a story and everything in the shot should add to the photo, Kevin crops as he shoots to create images with a clean and classic sense of composition.
