The perfect place for special events, the Chicago History Museum features well-appointed indoor spaces and a plaza with a spectacular view of Lincoln Park and the Gold Coast.
Memorable Moments
The Chicago History Museum was founded in 1856 as the city’s first cultural institution. After the milestone of our 150th anniversary in 2006, the museum emerged as a renovated facility with completely reinterpreted and reinstalled galleries.
