OLD: Barley & Brass replaces Fame in this spot in November 2014. Older: Wicker Park got a new art-centric bar and restaurant in July 2013 with the opening of Fame. Occupying a location once occupied by Paradise Cantina, chef Stephen Westman's Fame offers craft cocktails and pass-the-platter selections to go with them. A number of options for groups are available including a V.I.P. gallery seating 30 with tables of reclaimed lumber and a long booth. The dining room seats 22, an sidewalk cafe another 32. Fame can accommodate as many as 150. A DJ booth and equipment along with four flat screen televisions are available. The latter can be set to play custom DVD loops or videos.
