Venue Description
Old: InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the signing of a new 900-room InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property in downtown Los Angeles, as part of Korean Air and Hanjin Group’s more than $1.1 billion new Wilshire Grand project. It will be the largest InterContinental hotel in the Americas region. The 73-story, 1,100-foot tall development is also set to be the tallest building in the western United States. This new construction replaces the old Wilshire Grand Hotel and Center which was previously on the site. It’s slated to open in 2017.
