Kinmont Restaurant

OLD: This 6,000-square-foot restaurant opened in February 2014 in a space that once held Zealous. Kinmont, named for a type of fishing lure, emphasizes a sustainable seafood approach focused on more plentiful "trash" fish and offers a menu adhering to the Monterey Bay seafood watch list, the Safe Harbor list, and the Bill Fish foundation list. The decor features butcher-block tables and leather banquets. A smaller space within seating 30 and called Ampersand will be coming soon. The self-contained area will offer guests a test kitchen concept.
