Old: The Upper West Side outpost of chef Zak Pelaccio’s Malaysian restaurant is a casual eatery that opened in March 2009. Like its sister property in the meatpacking district, Fatty Crab Upper West Side is filled with decor to match the menu of street food—red walls, unfinished dark wood tabletops, and salvaged metal chairs. The restaurant seats a total of 74, with room for 13 at the bar and 20 at the outdoor café.
